Note this website will soon be going through a refit. EAMEPy is now known as EASE and is in use in my PhD
As my Natural Sciences MSci project at University College London, i worked on the detection of molecules in the atmosphere of extrasolar planets (planets outside stars other than the Sun) with Dr Giovana Tinetti.
For this project i am developing a data processing pipeline in python to quickly and accurately extract the transmission signal from the transit lightcurve. This script (codenamed EAMEPy) consists of a number of functions to process data including lightcurve fitting, parameter extraction and de-trending. My intention is the release the code GNU General Public License on completion of my project when the code is robust and consistent. Some snippets may be posted on my blog but if you want to find out more about EAMEPy you can email me at ryan@ryanvarley.co.uk.
