GiantSweets was my first ‘proper’ website and was built from the ground up in PHP to improve my coding skills and introduce me back to PHP after my couple of years of absence in this area. Coding for this site helped by learning of python enormously for my masters project (see EAMPy) and although i have sidelined the project in favor of MacGazette, i still update it from time to time and hope to automate it and have it running by itself when time permits.
